By engaging National Power Clean for kitchen exhaust cleaning, hood maintenance, or fire safety inspections, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure we can maintain the highest safety standards in accordance with the Ontario Fire Code.
1. Scope of Service
National Power Clean provides certified cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, filters, ductwork, and exhaust fans. All services are performed to meet or exceed NFPA 96 standards.
- Documentation: Upon completion, clients will receive a digital service report including photo verification of the clean.
- Deficiency Reporting: If mechanical issues (worn belts, motor failure, or structural fire hazards) are found, they will be noted in the report.
2. Site Access & Preparation
To perform services safely and effectively, the client agrees to:
- Provide unobstructed access to the kitchen hood and rooftop exhaust fan.
- Ensure all cooking equipment is turned off and cooled prior to the arrival of our technicians.
- Clear any food, small wares, or sensitive equipment from the immediate cleaning area.
3. Liability & Performance
While we use professional-grade degreasers and high-pressure cleaning systems, National Power Clean is not responsible for:
- Damage to pre-existing faulty wiring or improperly sealed roof curbs.
- Normal wear and tear on fan belts or motors during standard testing.
- Issues arising from pre-existing structural non-compliance of the ductwork.
4. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all invoices are due within 15 days of the service date. National Power Clean reserves the right to withhold compliance certificates or “Clean to Metal” stickers until payment is received in full.
5. Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 25% of the quoted service price.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario. Any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of the courts in Kitchener, Ontario.
